Welcome to my Web site. This painting, You Never Know, symbolizes for me as an artist the journey of personal discovery that we all make throughout our lives. Regardless of what the winds of change may bring I am, like this horse, compelled to move forward. This journey is a solitary one. Commitment, hope and yes, the courage to take new and unknown paths are constantly in my thoughts and challenge me. I have always loved horses and so to use them as a metaphor for my own journey of discovery feels right. Someone once said that “real courage is displayed by those who are afraid to go, but go anyway.” This painting speaks to me about this journey. I don’t know where it will all end up, but I am compelled to make the trip.
